Enhance your cooking skills in this hands-on class focused on mastering sauces that elevate any meal. Learn to create silky-smooth sauces from scratch, starting with a perfect hollandaise infused with saffron to complement golden-seared salmon. Tea, coffee and water will be provided. Guests are welcome to bring non-alcoholic beverages.

This class is suitable for ages 14+ with an adult present. Children under 17 must be accompanied by a paying adult. Class price is per person.

I enjoyed the class. The desserts were tasty. I had thought we were making all three recipes, but the chef ended up making one of them which was time-consuming. It might have been nicer to include one that wasn't as time-consuming so we could have three hands-on bakes. I have not received the recipes as yet, but since they were affected by the global IT outage, I'm not worried about that yet.

Chef Peter's culinary journey may have begun in Northern California, but it's taken him around the U.S., with stops in D.C. and Nantucket. He honed his talent in well-regarded eateries, eventually rising to the level of executive chef. His restaurant experience includes a stint at the Watergate Hotel. Now happily settled in Seattle, Chef Peter is often found sharing his skills in cooking classes and with local and national nonprofits.
