What You’ll Do

Showcase iconic summer flavors in gourmet macarons

By the end of this hands-on cooking class, you will master the art of the macaron. From creating the ideal batter and piping signature shapes to creating decadent fillings and assembling your confections, your chef instructors will guide you through each step with tips and techniques for macaron perfection. Upgrade your macarons with seasonal flavors like s'mores and cherry cheesecake.

Tea, coffee and water will be provided. Guests are welcome to bring non-alcoholic beverages.

This class is suitable for ages 14+ with an adult present. Children under 17 must be accompanied by a paying adult. Class price is per person.

Meet your chef


Chef Peter's culinary journey may have begun in Northern California, but it's taken him around the U.S., with stops in D.C. and Nantucket. He honed his talent in well-regarded eateries, eventually rising to the level of executive chef. His restaurant experience includes a stint at the Watergate Hotel. Now happily settled in Seattle, Chef Peter is often found sharing his skills in cooking classes and with local and national nonprofits.

Chef Peter was not our chef this night. Our chef casually mentioned having prepared one of the dishes only once before, and one would expect the lead of the class to have a bit more expertise than a singular attempt. I enjoyed each dish and have good memories from the class, but the instruction was tasteless.
