Cooking Class - Intro to Sushi Making

You'll learn how to make homemade sushi better than your favorite sushi bar.

In this hands-on cooking class, you'll learn the art of from-scratch sushi. A chef instructor will teach you the techniques for making sushi as well as a way to practice knife skills. You'll learn how to season sushi rice, roll up the fish and create dipping sauces to pair with each roll.

Guests are welcome to bring wine and beer to enjoy during the class.

This class is suitable for ages 14+ with an adult present. Children under 17 must be accompanied by a paying adult. Class price is per person.

I thought the class was fine. The food we cooked was tasty but it did seem like we were just putting ingredients together in a rushed format. I thought there should have been more of an opportunity to make the raviolis, everything seemed rushed and a bit hectic. Also I wish we could have had Togo boxes but all we got was a ziplock and there was so much food waste. Also, we did not get the recipes and thought that would have been nice. Overall the instructor was swift but definitely seemed a bit like she was racing against the clock to get through everything.

Spicy in the best of ways! Very quick-witted and you can tell she has a lot of experience. It was a fun interactive group experience for our work team. Will definitely be back to get yelled at some more.
