Planning a trip somewhere exotic? Get your kids familiar with the local flavors.

Getting kids to try new foods can be tough. Are you planning to travel somewhere that will have unfamiliar foods and worry about how the kids will react? Introducing new flavors is easy when it's done through summer cooking classes where kids are with peers and not parents. This cooking series gets kids excited about new foods and gives them an introduction to cuisines they may not have tried at home. By the time they finish this 5-day around the world adventure, they'll be excited to explore international menus.

Classes typically run for two to two and a half hours, unless specified otherwise. Group work is a key component; kids can expect to collaborate with four other students. The class involves standing, cooking and active participation throughout. Comfortable, closed-toe shoes are required and long hair should be securely tied back for safety. Please note that these are drop-off classes. Parents do not stay during the classes.

The French croissants class was excellent. Chef Eric was very helpful and the experience was great. Be prepared for an engaging hands-on class We learned a lot and had fun. The final products (sweet and savory croissants) were delicious.

Overall very informative. Adult only class would be a nice option.. Chef had amazing experience, very informative and knowledgeable. Should have a 5 min late policy. Late guests distracting. Would have liked a little quicker pace. Overall Very great seat up. Definitely an experience.

The class was easy to follow, and I feel the recipes will be easy to replicate at home. This class should be 3 hrs long, not 2. The dough didn't have enough time to rise and didn't have enough time to bake. My focaccia bread wound up burning because the instructor was moving on with the class and the bread didn't get out of the oven fast enough.
