What You’ll Do

Three days of fun in the kitchen while teaching your child vibrant global cuisine.

In this 3-day global cuisine cooking series, your child will earn the skills and confidence to feel comfortable in the kitchen. Design for ages 7-11, these summer cooking classes help your future chef explore flavors from around the world while having a fun, immersive cooking experience. They will work with traditional ingredients, master techniques and understand the cultural heritage behind each dish. In addition to cooking, kids learn the fundamentals of food preparation and kitchen safety. They will leave class with new skills to last a lifetime.

Classes typically run for two to two and a half hours, unless specified otherwise. Group work is a key component; kids can expect to collaborate with four other students. The class involves standing, cooking and active participation throughout. Comfortable, closed-toe shoes are required and long hair should be securely tied back for safety. Please note that these are drop-off classes. Parents do not stay during the classes.

Chef Josh was amazing! He was informative, efficient, and helpful to our class of 8. We all got to have hands-on experience preparing our meal as a team of 4. The food was so delicious, and we can't wait to receive the recipes so we can try and make it at home. The whole experience was excellent! We would definitely try this experience with Cozymeal again!
