Cooking Class - 5-Day Foodie Fun Teens: Culinary Arts

What You’ll Do

Unleash your inner chef and let your creativity take center stage.

This immersive cooking series is designed for children aged 12 and older, teaching them the skills needed to become a chef. Over the course of five days, your teenager will learn from a chef instructor and discover a world of flavors. They will develop advanced cooking skills, learn intricate recipes, and practice safe kitchen practices. Attending summer cooking classes will boost your child's confidence in the kitchen and beyond. By the end of the program, every student will receive a printed menu, a graduation certificate and new skills.

Classes typically run for two to two and a half hours, unless specified otherwise. Group work is a key component; kids can expect to collaborate with four other students. The class involves standing, cooking and active participation throughout. Comfortable, closed-toe shoes are required and long hair should be securely tied back for safety. Please note that these are drop-off classes. Parents do not stay during the classes.

This was a great class, but we paid more than expected for what felt like a standard class. We were looking for a unique experience, and while we thoroughly enjoyed the class and the food, we were a bit disappointed because we had hoped for something different. Chef Angel was great, and the food was delicious.

Chef Quincy did a good job. Especially since he had to pivot regarding the pre-made dumpling wrappers were not available. It felt a bit rushed or unorganized at times, but overall the food came out well. My partner and I both forgot to grab the recipe packets at the end, but I know we can find similar recipes online. I would attend another class.
