Cooking Class - 5-Day Foodie Fun Teens: Expert Baking - Santa Rosa

What You’ll Do

A 5-day workshop giving teens hands-on baking experience and pro skills.

Give your burgeoning chef's skills a boost with an engaging 5-day cooking series focussed on advanced baking techniques. Part of our new summer cooking classes, these sessions have been designed to give kids aged 12 and up a grounding in baking skills in a fun environment. Led by a chef instructor, kids will explore recipes from around the globe and have a go at making their own dishes. They’ll also get a grounding in kitchen fundamentals, from preparing ingredients to learning best practices for food safety.

Classes typically run for two to two and a half hours, unless specified otherwise. Group work is a key component; kids can expect to collaborate with four other students. The class involves standing, cooking and active participation throughout. Comfortable, closed-toe shoes are required and long hair should be securely tied back for safety. Please note that these are drop-off classes. Parents do not stay during the classes.

Hi - we have done cozy meal in the past. This time. we did not have chef Tina and it was not in her home as advertised, but at sur la table. Our chef was great as was the menu, but our time was far too rushed for what we were cooking - both for him and for us. This was an expensive outing and an additional hour in the kitchen would have made the experience more enjoyable for all.

My husband and I had a wonderful time making pasta carbonara and chicken piccata with Chef Julie and her assistant Emily. I am sure we will schedule another class soon, we both really enjoyed it, learned a lot and had a great meal with leftovers to bring home.
