Cooking Class - 5-Day Foodie Fun Kids: Baking Skills

What You’ll Do

A 5-day kitchen experience giving kids the skills they need to become confident bakers.

Tailor-made for kids aged 12 and over, this 5-day cooking series, part of our summer cooking classes, will give all aspiring bakers the hands-on skills they need to produce beautiful bakes. Following instructions from an expert chef, your teen will learn how to prep ingredients, follow food safety guidelines, and get to grips with some pro baking techniques. Then, at the end of the week, they’ll get to show off everything they’ve learned with a fun cooking challenge using mystery ingredients to create their own masterpiece.

Classes typically run for two to two and a half hours, unless specified otherwise. Group work is a key component; kids can expect to collaborate with four other students. The class involves standing, cooking and active participation throughout. Comfortable, closed-toe shoes are required and long hair should be securely tied back for safety. Please note that these are drop-off classes. Parents do not stay during the classes.

Hi - we have done cozy meal in the past. This time. we did not have chef Tina and it was not in her home as advertised, but at sur la table. Our chef was great as was the menu, but our time was far too rushed for what we were cooking - both for him and for us. This was an expensive outing and an additional hour in the kitchen would have made the experience more enjoyable for all.
