Cooking Class - 5-Day Foodie Fun Teens: Creative Cooking

What You’ll Do

Five days of kitchen fun, giving teens essential kitchen skills for the future.

Get your teen’s kitchen skills sizzling with this 5-day cooking series full of hands-on experience. In these summer cooking classes, future head chefs will discover the secrets to working in a fast-paced kitchen environment. They’ll develop food prep skills, and expert baking and cooking techniques, all led by the chef instructor. They’ll also get to know the best practices for kitchen and food safety while they tackle some delicious international recipes. At the end of the sessions, your teen will receive a graduation certificate and lots of new skills.

Classes typically run for two to two and a half hours, unless specified otherwise. Group work is a key component; kids can expect to collaborate with four other students. The class involves standing, cooking and active participation throughout. Comfortable, closed-toe shoes are required and long hair should be securely tied back for safety. Please note that these are drop-off classes. Parents do not stay during the classes.

My husband and I had an enjoyable time. The food turned out excellent. Chef Joy and the others in the class were delightful to be around. There was a lot of standing. I wish we had been able to at least sit down to eat the delicious food. Overall great experience.
