Cooking Class - 5-Day Foodie Fun Kids: Baking Masterclass
Five days of baking fun, giving kids valuable kitchen skills and inspiring creativity.
Let your mini master chef’s imagination run wild with a 5-day cooking series based around baking. Over the course of each day in these summer cooking classes, young cooks aged 7-11 will focus on either sweet or savory baked goods, all while learning fundamental skills including weighing and measuring ingredients and food and kitchen safety. By the end of the five days, kids will have mastered kneading dough and twisting pretzels and will be ready to take on a fun baking challenge using only a photo of the finished item.
Classes typically run for two to two and a half hours, unless specified otherwise. Group work is a key component; kids can expect to collaborate with four other students. The class involves standing, cooking and active participation throughout. Comfortable, closed-toe shoes are required and long hair should be securely tied back for safety. Please note that these are drop-off classes. Parents do not stay during the classes.
