Take a flavorful adventure with this summer series, introducing young chefs to global cuisine.
In this five-day cooking series designed for ages 7-11, your child will embark on a journey exploring tastes from around the world. From steaming pork buns to kneading pasta dough and baking schnitzel, future foodies will have fun while learning essential cooking techniques, basic prep skills and best practices for kitchen safety. This global flavor experience is designed to make your child a more creative and confident cook. Each student will leave with a printed menu and graduation certificate, making this an enriching addition to these summer cooking classes.
Classes typically run for two to two and a half hours, unless specified otherwise. Group work is a key component; kids can expect to collaborate with four other students. The class involves standing, cooking and active participation throughout. Comfortable, closed-toe shoes are required and long hair should be securely tied back for safety. Please note that these are drop-off classes. Parents do not stay during the classes.

Chef Amalia is a seasoned cook who transitioned from a legal career to sharing her passion for making food and its preparation more accessible. She is able to make complicated tasks appear simple by breaking them down into their most essential components and encouraging the students to practice and then master each skill. In her kitchen, encouragement and mastery are the keys to making culinary arts approachable for all.
