What You’ll Do

An interactive baking summer camp, empowering budding chefs with hands-on skills!

This cooking series helps your child become more creative and confident in the kitchen for ages 7-11. Over the course of four days, young chefs will explore the wonderful world of baking in a fun, friendly and safe kitchen environment. From decorating cakes to flipping crêpes and kneading dough, young chefs will explore a variety of delicious recipes. They will learn baking techniques, fundamental food preparation and safety measures in this summer cooking class. Each participant will also receive a printed menu and a graduation certificate to take home.

Classes typically run for two to two and a half hours, unless specified otherwise. Group work is a key component; kids can expect to collaborate with four other students. The class involves standing, cooking and active participation throughout. Comfortable, closed-toe shoes are required and long hair should be securely tied back for safety. Never received the written recipe to make this meal at home. 4 people had to share the workspace and the pan to cook with. No cutting or prepping was introduced. No tips or assistance to help with a good outcome, just a demonstration.
