What You’ll Do

Discover the world through food with this fun and interactive kids cooking class.

Embark on a culinary adventure with this summer cooking series tailored for ages 7-11. This innovative program aims to nurture your child's creativity and confidence in the kitchen. Over three days, budding chefs will delve into international flavors, mastering dishes like steamed pork buns, handmade pasta and crispy schnitzel while honing essential cooking skills and safety practices. Each student will leave with a personalized menu and a well-deserved graduation certificate, making these summer cooking classes a memorable and enriching experience for young food enthusiasts.

Classes typically run for two to two and a half hours, unless specified otherwise. Group work is a key component; kids can expect to collaborate with four other students. The class involves standing, cooking and active participation throughout. Comfortable, closed-toe shoes are required and long hair should be securely tied back for safety. Please note that these are drop-off classes. Parents do not stay during the classes.

Chef Amalia is a seasoned cook who transitioned from a legal career to sharing her passion for making food and its preparation more accessible. She is able to make complicated tasks appear simple by breaking them down into their most essential components and encouraging the students to practice and then master each skill. In her kitchen, encouragement and mastery are the keys to making culinary arts approachable for all.

We made 3 different types of sushi rolls and matcha ice cream. Our chef Amalia was amazing! So patient, kind, knowledgeable, informative and pleasant! The facilities staff was great but it was extremely cold in the kitchen and would’ve been nicer to have seating for mealtime instead of standing.
