Cooking Class - 3-Day Foodie Fun Kids: Kitchen Exploration

What You’ll Do

Young chefs discover global flavors and techniques across three days of culinary adventures

In this hands-on cooking series designed for ages 7-11, kids expand their confidence and creativity in the kitchen as they explore ingredients and techniques from around the world. A chef instructor will guide aspiring cooks as they practice folding and steaming tender pork buns, kneading fresh pasta dough by hand, coating and baking crunchy schnitzel and more. Summer cooking classes build foundational culinary skills such as basic food preparation methods and kitchen safety guidelines. Upon completing the series, each student will take home a printed menu and graduation certificate.

Classes typically run for two to two and a half hours, unless specified otherwise. Group work is a key component; kids can expect to collaborate with four other students. The class involves standing, cooking and active participation throughout. Comfortable, closed-toe shoes are required and long hair should be securely tied back for safety. Please note that these are drop-off classes. Parents do not stay during the classes.

The facility was great and so was our instructor. Taking a star off because we thought we would get to make classic croissants but it was only morning buns (cinnamon rolls) and pan au chocolait. It was still a great experience.
