Cooking Class - 3-Day Foodie Fun Kids: Melting Pot

Treat your future foodie to an immersive course detailing favorites from all over the world.

Ages 7-11 will delight in these summer cooking classes designed to inspire and build confidence in young chefs. Over three days, and under guidance from a chef instructor, these tiny chefs will work with a variety of international ingredients as they prepare iconic dishes from around the globe. Starting with food safety and knife skills and moving on to combining savory fillings for Asian steamed dumplings or crispy breaded and baked cuts of meat with Italian or German flavors.

Classes typically run for two to two and a half hours, unless specified otherwise. Group work is a key component; kids can expect to collaborate with four other students. The class involves standing, cooking and active participation throughout. Comfortable, closed-toe shoes are required and long hair should be securely tied back for safety. Please note that these are drop-off classes. Parents do not stay during the classes.

Our Chef Wendy was excellent! She worked with adults and kids and everyone was engaged and enjoyed themselves. The only reason I did not give the experience 5 stars is because while we were listening to Chef Wendy, the assistants were cleaning pots and pans and utensils and their noise disrupted hearing our Chef. Chef Wendy deserves five stars.!!

Chef Justin was not our chef. The experience was not to bad, except we had a lot of Nats at our table, and a few got in our flower.
