Cooking Class - 3-Day Foodie Fun Teens: Global Bakes
Three days of exploration for young bakers, creating flavors from all corners of the world.
With this fun-filled 3-day cooking series, young bakers ages 12 and up can indulge in fun lessons celebrating the art of baking around the world! Sign your aspiring chefs up for a set of summer cooking classes that give them a window into the international baking scene. They'll work with a top-level chef to learn advanced baking methods and prepare a host of delicious menus that present fun challenges to expand their skills. Every student receives a printed menu and graduation certificate, plus essential skills they can build on.
Classes typically run for two to two and a half hours, unless specified otherwise. Group work is a key component; kids can expect to collaborate with four other students. The class involves standing, cooking and active participation throughout. Comfortable, closed-toe shoes are required and long hair should be securely tied back for safety. Please note that these are drop-off classes. Parents do not stay during the classes.

This class was misrepresented as steak and gnocchi when, in reality, they hid the fact that it was risotto and Chicken thigh. On top of that, we had to share a cooking station with another couple and were given a single piece of chicken each to eat. For the price, I would never recommend doing this class. Maybe if they paid you, it would be worth it, but I would tell anyone considering doing this to do it at home with the help of a YouTube video. It will be more romantic, and you'll actually cook what you plan, not some random meal that was hidden in the website.
