Cooking Class - 5-Day Foodie Fun Kids: Playful Baking
Five days in the kitchen for your little chefs to learn the basics of baking.
Sign up your young gourmets ages 7 to 11 for an exciting cooking series that will give them a foundation for home baking fun! This collection of five informative summer cooking classes forms an interactive forum with hands-on learning from expert chefs. Students will learn to create batters and doughs, discover the joy of kneading and cake decorating and be rewarded with more than just a taste of the treats they create. They'll take home recipes and safety awareness, plus a diploma and a printed menu of their bakes!
Classes typically run for two to two and a half hours, unless specified otherwise. Group work is a key component; kids can expect to collaborate with four other students. The class involves standing, cooking and active participation throughout. Comfortable, closed-toe shoes are required and long hair should be securely tied back for safety. Please note that these are drop-off classes. Parents do not stay during the classes.

This class was misrepresented as steak and gnocchi when, in reality, they hid the fact that it was risotto and Chicken thigh. On top of that, we had to share a cooking station with another couple and were given a single piece of chicken each to eat. For the price, I would never recommend doing this class. Maybe if they paid you, it would be worth it, but I would tell anyone considering doing this to do it at home with the help of a YouTube video. It will be more romantic, and you'll actually cook what you plan, not some random meal that was hidden in the website.
