Disappointed to say the least. The entire class felt like I was being rushed which made no sense as we got done over 30 minutes in advance. Everytime I turned around someone was standing there waiting to take items off my bench. We were also told that we could eat the remaining ingredients if we didn’t use them all in the rolls but those all got taken away as well. Why add sushi rice to the menu if we aren’t even going to able to enjoy it? This class was not as it was advertised.

We had so much fun. It was one of our favorite dates. We learned a lot and tasted delicious. The chef was a great teacher.

This was definitely an unexpected experience all around. About 5 minutes after the class was scheduled to start, all ~16 students were standing outside the room waiting to go in. The chef finally came out with a roster and she actually yelled at people to “hurry up” and get inside. The class continued with some of of that same chaotic energy and a few “unprofessional” comments (“the pans are ribbed for her pleasure”) given the crowd (father/son). The food was tasty, but nothing incredible. My partner and I both felt like we didn’t learn anything new, but enjoyed our time there.
