Cooking Class - Bread With a Rustic Touch

What You’ll Do

Bring out your inner baker in a session celebrating the basics of rustic baking.

Baking handcrafted bread is a skill worth learning, and this hands-on cooking class will show you how. Learn simple methods for turning out your own hearty loaves to serve, share and enjoy for yourself. You'll create flavorful focaccia and chewy Dutch oven French bread, plus creamy homemade butter to top them.

Tea, coffee and water will be provided. Guests are welcome to bring non-alcoholic beverages.

This class is suitable for ages 14+ with an adult present. Children under 17 must be accompanied by a paying adult. Class price is per person.

Meet your chef


Chef Michael arrived in the culinary world as an all-around creative looking for his next challenge. His career in environmental and graphic design included work with Toyota and Amazon before his fascination with cuisine led him to Le Cordon Bleu for a blue ribbon program of study. He honed his talents further as assistant pastry chef at Le Marais. Now, Chef Michael applies his creativity to teaching others the art of cuisine.
