What You'll Do

Put a romantic spin on New Year's Eve with this cooking class.

Learn how to bring seasonal flavors and a gourmet touch to the holiday table. You'll join an esteemed chef and learn tips and techniques for searing a tender steak, preparing a brandy Dijon cream sauce, mixing truffled mashed potatoes and making traditional Russian blinis. Bake a dark chocolate souflé accented with a cocoa nib cream.

Tea, coffee and water will be provided. Guests are welcome to bring non-alcoholic beverages.

This class is suitable for ages 14+ with an adult present. Children under 17 must be accompanied by a paying adult. Class price is per person.

Meet your chef


Chef Jennifer has been passionate about cooking since crafting her own meatloaf recipe at age eight. She holds a BA in Art History from the University of Louisville and spent her early career as a visual merchandise manager and scenic artist. After raising three daughters, Chef Jennifer honed her skills further at The Columbus Culinary Institute, earning an Associate’s Degree in Culinary Arts. For the past decade, she has worked as a personal chef, media food stylist and chef instructor.

Chicken tenders, Mac and cheese and banana splits!!!! It was fun AND educational!! My only disappointment is that we couldn’t take our leftovers home. It was a great experience for my granddaughter and me!!!
