Cooking Class - A Study in Handmade Ramen Noodles

Learn how to make exquisite ramen noodles from scratch with the right ingredients and techniques.

During this interactive cooking class, Chef Ricky will teach you how to handcraft ramen soup with fresh noodles along with a handful of other Asian recipes.

First, you'll fill steamed bao buns with savory pork belly and pickled cucumbers. Then, learn the best methods to make homemade ramen noodles paired with stock and ramen toppings, including menma — seasoned bamboo shoots — and ajitama, which are seasoned soft-boiled eggs. For dessert, Chef Ricky will teach you how to deep-fry green tea ice cream.

Guests are welcome to bring wine and beer to enjoy during the class.

Chef Ricky is incredible! Our group of 8 enjoyed his Ramen class to no end. He was polite, knowledgeable and had a great sense of humor. Most importantly, he was patient with a group who only aspired to eat Ramen and couldn't imagine making our own. The experience provided us with a comfortable, relaxing atmosphere where we were able to chat, learn about each other, and laugh so hard until we cried. We will be back! Thank you Chef Ricky, a great time was had by all!
