In this hands-on cooking class, you will learn how to create an imaginative, flavorful take on a classic surf and turf meal. Chef Desmond will guide you through cooking with fresh seafood and produce, lean meat and innovative flavoring methods.
Begin with the "surf" by balancing okra with mango and scallops. Then, start on the "turf" by grilling flank steak bathed in a robust balsamic glaze, and serve it over a bed of herbed rice. To wrap up your meal, indulge in a sweet strudel filled with figs and grapes.
Guests are welcome to provide wine and beer to enjoy during the class.
