Social Distancing Friendly Learn traditional skills and techniques to make classic French dishes from scratch.
In this hands-on cooking class with Chef Brian, you'll learn French cooking skills and techniques needed to create classic dishes from France. As you cook, Chef Brian will offer pointers on local wine, bread and cheese pairings.
Throughout class, you'll learn techniques to make confit, sauces and jams to pair with traditional recipes, including duck rillettes, Lyonnaise salad with lardons and filet mignon. Chef Brian will also teach you how to make pastry, caramel and clotted cream, which you'll put to use as you prepare a fresh peach tarte tatin.
Guests are welcome to bring wine and beer to enjoy during the class.

Chef Brian has celebrated a number of milestones in his culinary career, including graduating second in his class from the Culinary Institute of America, winning several competitions and becoming a sous chef. His journey began at home, where he learned to cook with help from his mother. Spurred by a passion for teaching others, Chef Brian now offers a fun and lively education in the art of cuisine to students of all levels.
