What You’ll Do

Learn how to prepare a feast while using every edible part of the plant.

Join Chef Jenn in this interactive cooking class dedicated to minimizing food waste. The Chef will teach you tips and techniques to craft meals with zero scraps.

Start by delving into the versatile beetroot plant. You’ll break it down into its root, stem and leaves, then prepare each part individually to create a beautifully composed salad. For the entrée, transform every bit of portobello mushrooms, broccoli and Parmesan into delectable black pepper portobello steaks. For dessert, utilize every segment of an orange to bake zesty orange spice cupcakes. Learn to make the most of every ingredient while creating delicious and waste-free dishes.

Guests are welcome to provide wine and beer to enjoy during the class.

My fiancé and I absolutely loved learning from Jenn. She was super knowledgeable and really good at keeping us engaged in different cooking tasks and fun conversation throughout the whole night. We learned a ton and had some amazing food. By the end of the night, it felt like we had all known each other for a while and were just hanging out as friends. 11/10 would book with Jenn again!

We had the pleasure of enjoying Chef Jenn's "Refined French Soirée" for a family trip. Chef Jenn was communicative, showed up prepared, and got straight to work preparing one of the best vegetarian dinners we all had ever had. Many in our group of 11 were non-vegetarians, but everyone said they were fully satisfied by the meal and shocked that vegetable dishes could taste so good. There were several courses, including a yummy dessert.
