Join Chef Facundo and learn how to make Japanese dumplings and sushi rolls at home.
In this hands-on cooking class with Chef Facundo, you will learn how to prepare an authentic four-course Japanese menu using fresh, high-quality ingredients and time-honored Japanese sushi making techniques.
Chef Facundo will begin by teaching you how to make Japanese pork gyoza dumplings completely from scratch. Then, you will learn the secrets to making the perfect sushi rice as well as the knife skills and rolling techniques needed to build two different sushi rolls. Lastly, you'll end on a sweet note with Japanese tempura fried ice cream for dessert.
Guests are welcome to bring wine and beer to enjoy during the class.

Chef Facundo is so much fun to work with! He is super knowledgeable about food and he gives great explanations about the ingredients and methods he uses. He is a blast to work with and I highly recommend him to anyone in Miami!
Chef Facundo began his culinary career in Argentina, studying and working in well-known restaurants in Buenos Aires. After spending two summers working in Uruguay, Chef Facundo came to the U.S. and began working in fine dining restaurants in San Francisco before landing in New York City. He worked as an executive chef in Brooklyn for five years and also competed on "Chopped" season 46.
