Celebrate a menu of reimagined American favorites, prepared with a generous helping of gourmet panache.

Take American cuisine soaring to new heights of flavor in this hands-on cooking class with Chef Andrea. With a little inventiveness and a host of fresh ingredients, you can create an all-American meal to relish.

You'll begin with twice baked potatoes filled with all the trimmings and a platter of roasted vegetables seasoned with tangy herbs. For your entrée, you'll prepare bacon-wrapped stuffed pork tenderloin with traditional stuffing and a sweet glaze. And for dessert, you'll create classic fruit tarts with shortbread crusts topped with fresh fruit.

Guests are welcome to bring wine and beer to enjoy during the class.

Twice Baked Potatoes

With Colby or Jack cheese, fresh parley, garlic, green onions and butter

Bacon Wrapped Stuffed Pork Tenderloin

With celery, chili sauce, brown sugar, Worcestershire and maple syrup

Roasted Assorted Vegetable Platter

With carrots, squash, zucchini, asparagus, cauliflower and peppers

Cookie Seasonal Fruit Tarts

With brown sugar, cream cheese, vanilla, orange marmalade or honey

Chef Andrea’s love for teaching began when she started hosting flower arranging classes in the flower shop she owned and operated for almost 20 years. This passion for teaching eventually led her into the realm of cooking. Fast forward to today and Chef Andrea now has a decade of experience teaching cooking classes to both children and adults as well as hosting corporate team building events and catering private parties.

Chef Andrea was so fun to work with and she was a great instructor. She clearly has a lot of experience teaching cooking classes. She explains techniques and choices in ways that make them feel simple and I definitely learned quite a few tricks that I will be incorporating into my cooking in the future. I highly recommend Chef Andrea for anyone in the DC area!

Chef Andrea was super nice, and really made us feel at home in her home. Excellent instruction and really allowed us to customize our meals to our tastes. Would definitely recommend to anyone who needs help in the kitchen. :D
