Cooking Class - Intro to Mexican Cooking Techniques
Learn how to slice and dice with ease as you prepare authentic Mexican recipes.
In this interactive cooking class with Chef Michelle, you'll learn important knife skills as you prepare a few Mexican street food dishes.
First, you'll learn simple knife skills to dice and chop vegetables while making basic salsas and guacamole, which you'll serve with homemade tortilla chips fresh from the frying pan. Next, prepare a few street food classics: Mexican street corn with cotija cheese and chorizo-poblano pepper empanadas. As you cook, you'll enjoy a cinnamon and vanilla-infused horchata drink.
Guests are welcome to bring wine and beer to enjoy during the class.

Best date night EVER! Thank you Chef Momo!! The knife skills alone were worth the cost of the evening. Add in the fun, great food and education on how to pick and prepare all the right ingredients and I have to say you created an ideal evening. Next time my kitchen, but definitely more wonderful Mexican food!!

Meet your chef
Chef Michelle is an entrepreneur, private chef and all-around culinary extraordinaire known to many as Chef Momo. In 2018, she started her own personal chef business, where she provides tailored private dining experiences as well as virtual and in-person cooking classes and workshops. Chef Michelle also has experience as a personal chef for many A-list clients, including executives and NBA players.
