Unlock the secrets to perfectly prepared sous vide recipes with Chef Ricky.

In this sous vide cooking class for beginners, Chef Ricky will guide you through proper techniques for preparing food in a vacuum-sealed plastic pouch that's cooked in a water bath at a precisely regulated temperature.

For the appetizer, you'll compile a compressed watermelon tataki appetizer with sweet soy glaze and deep fried shallots, then focus on your sous vide recipes. First, prepare whole snapper with ginger, garlic, shiitake mushrooms and soy sauce, and crème brûlée with vanilla and berries for dessert. You'll leave class armed with the secrets to continue sous vide cooking at home!

Guests are welcome to bring wine and beer to enjoy during the class.

For Mother’s Day, I got to take my mom and sister to Chef Ricky’s sous vide class and it was nothing short of spectacular! Before our class I was in touch with Chef Ricky, because as my mom is older I was worried about the length of time she may be standing, the timing of dinner and if she would be able to take her meal home if it was too late for her, etc. Chef Ricky was so responsive and helpful! The night was so wonderful. He had everything for us for us each to actually “cook” and learn. The recipes were so tasty and his company unmatched! I can’t wait to do it again!

What a truly wonderful experience my husband and I had cooking with Chef Ricky. He was professional, personable, and beyond knowledgeable. It was so fun & we learned so much. We are already talking about taking another class with him. We had experience with sous vide, but we still learned a lot and the menu was phenomenal. Don't think about it..just book it, now!
