In this hands-on cooking class with Chef Yaakov, you will learn how to prepare handmade onigiri — compact Japanese rice balls stuffed with incredible fillings and wrapped in a sheet of toasted nori.
Chef Yaakov will begin the class by sharing with you the time-honored tricks and trade secrets to a perfectly prepared pot of sushi rice. Then, using fresh, high-quality ingredients, you will learn how to make three popular onigiri fillings, including a tuna and green onion mixture seasoned with soy sauce, salted salmon and roe with cucumber, and more!
Guests are welcome to bring wine and beer to enjoy during the class.
