Cooking Class - Japanese Bento and Art of Plating
In this hands-on cooking class with Chef Vivian and Chef Michi, you will learn how to prepare four authentic Japanese dishes and how to artfully plate them together in a traditional bento box.
Chef Vivian and Chef Michi will begin by teaching you how to make beef gyoza dumplings from scratch, a traditional potato salad with cucumbers and dill, Japanese-style salted and pan-seared salmon, and a rice cake with a sweet red bean filling. Then, you will learn how to transform these dishes into a delicious work of art.
Guests are welcome to bring wine and beer to enjoy during the class.
