In this hands-on class with Chef Raina, you will learn how to prepare a traditional three-course New Orleans menu using high-quality ingredients and time-honored recipes hailing from the Big Easy.
Chef Raina will begin by teaching you how to make from-scratch gumbo using a well-balanced cocktail of Cajun spices. Then, you will learn how to build a flavor-forward shrimp po' boy sandwiched between the paper-thin crust and pillowy crumb of a New Orleans–style French roll. Lastly, you will end on a sweet note with homemade beignets for dessert.
Guests are welcome to bring wine and beer to enjoy during the class.
