Loved the experience Chef Meir, it was great being able to learn about more vegan/vegetarian options. This night was just right, it was my boyfriend and I and I loved the taste of the kofta vegi balls, never thought I would like with the sweet potato flavor, learned a different way to make sure my rice comes out right all the time, the malai kafta curry also hit the spot, overall we enjoyed the experience and the chef was helpful throughout the process.

We participated in Chef Meir’s Veg. Indian Cooking Course. If you’re looking for a cozy, hands on lesson, this is a wonderful way to spend your night! Chef Meir works alongside each member of your group, teaching you how to make a number of dishes. He guides you though technical skills and gives you tips and tricks for making the meal at home. The food was absolutely decadent. You will leave excited & confident to recreate at home. Overall, I would absolutely recommend this class to a friend.

Had a good time learning about new dishes with the Chef. Learned a lot of new techniques and methods. He seemed a little unprepared, or somewhat overworked for the session. Still worked well with us, but it created a little bit of a rushed atmosphere.

This was a very unique and intimate experience. Chef Meir was friendly and accommodating. We shared the experience with another couple (and their wine), which made it even more fun. Would definitely do again!

This was a very good class, with a delicious selection of dishes. Chef Meir takes care to make sure it's a learning-by-doing experience and he is very responsive to requests regarding food allergies.

We had an amazing experience with Chef Meir. He kept us engaged throughout the process, and answered all the nitty-gritty questions I had for each of the dishes. My partner and I especially enjoyed learning the process of making paneer (Indian cheese) from scratch!

My boyfriend and I really enjoyed making (and eating) the dishes in Chef Meir's Vegetarian Indian 101. We definitely left with more delicious recipes and translatable skills in the kitchen than what we arrived with. While we knew going in that we'd be preparing new dishes and sauces, the food we created from scratch that took us most by surprise was cheese for our Saag Paneer. I now know how to make cheese at home! How cool is that? I am not a vegetarian, and would recommend this class regardless of your meat-eating preferences and restrictions. And, I think this opportunity would be fun with a group of friends who want to add to their culinary repertoire or simply enjoy a night-out outside of a bar.

My daughter and I took Indian Vegetarian 101. I'm not a vegetarian but I love Indian food. Chef Meir was extremely organized and prepared and kept the class on track. In addition to teaching several great recipes he provided numerous cooking suggestions that I never would have thought of or learned on my own. I will make these recipes again in the future. One suggestion to future participants: although Chef Meir provides containers for the leftovers, it may be worth bringing your own several containers since there could be a fair amount of leftovers (all delicious) from the class.

This is the second year my wife and I decide to do a Cozymeal night out to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Chef Meir did not disappoint us. We had great evening, chopping it up, talking food and preparing a juicy chicken dinner that included a salad with an amazing vinaigrette and delicious onion parsnip soup. Chef Meir showed us how to take simple ingredients and cook up a delicious meal...and we had fun along the way. Thank you, again, Chef Meir and Cozymeal.

This experience was created because my girlfriend wanted to do something different for us but this experience was the worst. First not knowing that this experience was going to be in someone’s apartment was one thing. To have people peeping out the room and he placed our coats in his coat closet full of koas was another. Then to have the food stacked on a little table in the television room was one thing but to have to go back and fourth while cooking was another. We tolerated all of this mischief until it was time to start cooking. Then as we start cooking my girlfriend spotted two roaches on the cooking bowls and when mentioned to the chef, he just rinses them bowl off and attempts to keep going. At that point my girlfriend called it to the end and we left the meal. We didn’t cook anything. He started preparing the chicken and potatoes at first but washing your handing with dish detergent versus hand soap especially right now during this pandemic is crucial to safety. We had the worst Valentines Weekend experience and the back thing about it was that it was our first Valentine’s Day together. Now this experience has cause turmoil in my relationship and it’s all that’s to Cozymeal ! I would not even give this experience a 1 star, wish there was a way I could give this experience no stars or negative stars !
