Cooking Class - Healthy Cooking With Mushrooms
The world of mushrooms is vast and varied. Chef Landi will introduce you to several varieties and teach you how to cook with each for optimal health.
Begin the hands-on class with classic tomato bruschetta, then make a delicate soup featuring mixed mushrooms, onions and garlic seasoned to perfection. Next, learn how to perfectly sear salmon served with truffle oil, puréed mashed potatoes, steamed asparagus and butter lemon sauce. For dessert, craft a delectable bread pudding with strawberries, ice cream and chocolate.
Guests are welcome to bring wine and beer to enjoy during the class.
Basil Tomato Bruschetta
With toasted Italian bread, garlic, truffle oil, pesto and balsamic reduction
Creamy Mushroom Soup
With onions, garlic, oregano, parsley, vegetable stock, Parmesan cheese, truffle oil, lemon and croutons
Seared Atlantic Salmon
With garlic mashed potatoes, steamed asparagus, white wine, lemon, butter sauce and truffle oil
Classic Banana Bread Pudding
