Cooking Class - Pan Asian Comfort Food
In this hands-on class with Chef Shane, you will learn how to prepare a three-course Pan Asian comfort food menu using a blend of both familiar and exotic ingredients, and simple cooking techniques that yield complex flavor profiles.
Chef Shane will begin by teaching skills that includes meat cookery, baking, sautéing, and flash frying. Then, you will dive into the preparation of succulent chicken samosas with a spicy lime yogurt dipping sauce, meltingly tender beef sirloin with chili-glazed bok choy and cilantro pesto, and a coconut caramel banana cake for dessert.
Guests are welcome to bring wine and beer to enjoy during the class.
