Caribbean Shabbat Fusion combines Jewish holiday food and Afro-Caribbean staples. Learn new things about vegan fare, and the cross-cultural influences of global cuisine, with Chef Stacy.
Each course of this flavorful vegan menu features whole foods. You'll start with sweet potato fritters, an updated take on traditional Hanukkah latkes, followed by Spain-inspired quinoa-stuffed bell peppers. Then, you're off to the Caribbean for a dish of sautéed greens known as callaloo. Enjoy it with fried cauliflower and sweet potato mash, then end the class with a creamy sweet pudding.
Guests are welcome to bring wine and beer to enjoy during the class.
