Chef James fuses spicy, tangy, sweet, crunchy, and cold and hot elements in this four-course steakhouse meal.

Chef James is known for his eclectic menus, and his passion for tarts. This hands-on cooking class combines a variety of textures, temperatures and flavor profiles as only a fusion class can.

The adventure into unexpected yet complementary flavors begins with salmon cakes. The momentum continues with tomato and mozzarella, as you toss a fresh caprese salad. Then, Cajun-spiced steak and mashed potatoes with herbs are a crowdpleaser you'll want to make again and again. Finish strong with a pecan tart served with white chocolate sauce and coffee ice cream.

Guests are welcome to bring wine and beer to enjoy during the class.

Outstanding Job by Chef James. He was excellent in his directions, helpful hints, and keeping the class fun. I liked how he showed us 1 time then it was our turn. He was there to assist with questions. I would highly recommend to anyone to signup for his class.

I had a blast with Chef James and the group I was with. I had no idea what to expect when signing up for this, but I was not disappointed. Chef James was extremely personable and made every opportunity to educate us as well as help us with our techniques as we cooked each course. Best of all, he was extremely flexible and fed off of our energy and discussions to make minor tweaks to the courses as we cooked. That sauce was OMG good. Definitely recommend. I'll be keeping an eye out on for future events with Chef James or anyone that he recommends. You can't go wrong with him.

Chef James is an artist in the kitchen, his food carving skills are amazing! Each dish prepared was pure perfection, both in presentation and flavor. Previously a garmage instructor, he is no stranger to culinary instruction. He introduced new techniques, and was happy to answer all of my questions. An evening with Chef James will make for an unforgettable learning, and dining experience.
