WHAT YOU’LL DO

Join Chef Marquita as she shares her Jamaican heritage and cracks open the family cookbook.
In this hands-on class with Chef Marquita, you will learn how to make an authentic Jamaican meal using traditional cooking techniques to create colorful flavor profiles that offer an island escape — sans flight.

After building a garden fresh salad, Chef Marquita will show you how to prepare Jamaican curry chicken wings that fall off the bone with the slightest touch of the fork, which you will then spoon over your vividly colored and flavored jasmine rice that packs a welcome punch of ginger before ending with peach cobbler with an island twist.
Guests are welcome to bring wine and beer to enjoy during the class.
