In this class, you will prepare comfort foods that are reminiscent of a Sunday supper, followed by a much desired nap! Join Chef Michael and Iris on this divine culinary journey.
Comfort food is meant to make you feel all warm and cozy. Certain meals can give us those feelings that make us want to relax and take it slow. You will learn how to create classic Southern dishes that are always enchanting, such as macaroni and cheese, and green beans with bacon. Grandma's Italian meatloaf and banana pudding are also on the menu!
Guests are welcome to bring wine and beer to enjoy during the class.

Meet your chef
Mother and son team Chef Michael and Iris have been cooking and entertaining together for years. Their first cookbook, published in 2010, features comforting Southern food drawing on their Florida roots. Their second cookbook, published in 2011, features traditional holiday recipes. Chef Iris and Chef Michael are culinary instructors and have been featured on several TV programs, radio programs, and in many publications.
