Cooking Class - Simple Italian From Scratch
In this hands-on class with Chef Mona, you will learn how to prepare simple Italian recipes from scratch that boast a certain humble rusticity that is deeply satisfying and feeds you in both body and soul.
You will begin by learning how to make both ricotta cheese and a basic pasta dough completely from scratch. Then, you will turn your homemade fare into two impressive dishes: ricotta toast with local honey, basil, and truffle oil, and handcrafted tortellini filled with ricotta and tossed in a luxuriously creamy lemon sauce.
Guests are welcome to provide wine and beer to enjoy during the class.
