Cooking Class - Classic Cuban Feast
In this hands-on class with Chef Mona, you'll learn how to prepare a three-course Cuban feast and explore the myriad of flavors that brings Cuban cuisine to life.
You'll begin by mashing and frying green plantains into tostones served with a Cuban mojo sauce. Then, Chef Mona will show you how to build a Cuban sandwich with the right balance of roasted pork, sweet ham, sharp Swiss cheese, thinly sliced pickles, and yellow mustard. And for dessert, you'll prepare a luxurious homemade caramel sauce for a classic flan.
Guests are welcome to bring wine and beer to enjoy during the class.
