We had a fantastic evening with Chef Mathieu. He is an excellent educator, a lot of fun, he provided information and opportunities to create something new. We gave him a few challenges with having a big age range from 12 - 60 and then added a Vegan and a gluten free client, he was able to manage all of it extremely well. There was a lot of food, fun and we all learned new things about spices and techniques for cooking. Thanks so much for a fabulous evening Mathieu. Highly recommend!

Chef Sher is a gem! I don’t cook vegan often, but she taught me so many great tips and made everything fun and easy. Her home kitchen was spotless, professional, and fully prepared. The recipes were simple, creative, and incredibly delicious. This class really opened my eyes to vegan cooking and made me want to explore it more. We had a great time at our 7-course Italian seafood dinner cooking class with Chef Vinu. Her place is very cozy and welcoming, and she did a great job showing and explaining everything. We made pasta from scratch, stuffed mushrooms, salad, shrimp, calamari, and more. The food turned out absolutely delicious. I would recommend it to anyone who wants to learn about Italian cuisine.

My partner and I loved the course. Chef Meena was lovely and a polite host to us the whole time. We cooked shahi paneer with jeera rice and vegetable pakora. With Chef Meena's guidance, we were able to make a delicious dish that feels easy to make. We left with lots of leftovers and we look forward to trying it again by ourselves.

We very much enjoyed our time with chef Meena. We made pakoras, jeera rice, shahi paneer and coriander chutney. Chef Meena had also prepared tamarind chutney and rice pudding ahead of time for us. The food was delicious and we appreciated how simple the recipes were. We can definitely reproduce this at home. We’re very grateful to chef Meena for ensuring that the kitchen was gluten free and the recipes were all naturally gluten free. We would recommend this to anyone interested in learning how to create an authentic Indian meal at home with easy to find ingredients and easy to follow recipes.

We learned many things from chana masala to frying bhatura to making both chutneys. We made shahi paneer of which the base can be splendidly used for malai kofta and butter chicken. We also made chaat and pistachio kulfi and vegetable biryani. There are variations for how to make all of these but what I loved was knowing when to add certain spices and what oil to use. Vegetable or mustard. We didn’t have any Tupperware to bring so she kindly gave us takeout boxes to enjoy all the leftovers at home. Very helpful. The only thing I would have added was masala chai but since I’m off caffeine, we enjoyed hot and cold water.

We joined Chef Mat for an evening of Mexican cooking and had a great time! The tasks were split evenly among all the participants (our group of 4, and another solo attendee) and Mat was great at floating between all the tasks, guiding, supporting, and teaching. His expertise shined throughout the night and we had a spectacular meal with it! Overall, a great night with great food and laughs.

Chef Alicia is amazing!!! She is very enthusiastic and passionate about her work which is truly appreciated ! Me and my fiance had a great experience cooking and learning with Alicia. We cooked pork and shrimp wonton soup, Korean chicken tacos, and a superb napoleon pear dessert. Everything was easy to follow and SCRUMPTIOUS!!! 10/10 highly recommend booking her.

I had an amazing time learning and cooking with Sher. She was engaging and very knowledgeable, I learned so much about different ingredients, sauces and vegan recipes. Sher’s vegan recipes tasted delicious and the flavours from combining all the ingredients, was a pleasant surprise. It was my first time cooking vegan recipes and this experience has inspired me to explore more vegan cuisine. I highly recommend Sher!

We enjoyed a wonderful French cooking class with a Chef Mathieu. The menu included French Onion Soup, Beef Bourguignon, and a custard fruit tart, all of which were incredibly flavourful and gave a good representation of French cooking technique and flavour. Mathieu was very personable, and it was clear that not only did he have the knowledge about the cooking techniques, but also understood how to share them at a level that was understandable to all. We enjoyed the collaborative nature of the class and the ability to be involved in various aspects of the preparation of all components of the meal. The knowledge shared could definitely be translated into at-home practice.

My daughter and I had an absolutely wonderful experience at Meena’s Indian cooking class! From start to finish, it was warm, welcoming, and incredibly delicious. We learned how to make Chaat, Chana Masala, and Vegetable Biryani, and every dish turned out amazing. Meena is a fantastic teacher—she explained each step thoroughly and made the whole process feel approachable and fun. What really stood out was her thoughtfulness and flexibility. Since we’re not big fans of cilantro, she kindly prepared two separate versions to accommodate us, which was so appreciated. She also showed us how to prepare a fresh coriander chutney, and generously shared some of her own homemade tamarind chutney which was absolutely delicious. As if that wasn’t enough, we finished with Kulfi, which was the perfect not-too-sweet ending. Everything we made (and tasted!) was incredible. I would highly recommend this class to anyone looking for a hands-on, authentic, and enjoyable cooking experience!

Chef Mathieu is a comic posed as a teacher but manages to do both perfectly. I went to this event with my partner and from the initial greeting at the door, I knew it was going to be a great night. He is a wealth of knowledge and shows you real home-cooking tips from beginners to advanced. Also, his past life as a comic really shines through with his sharp wit that had the entire group dying of laughter many times. We cooked a fantastic 4-course Mexican meal from home-made salsa and churros to tostadas and chili-based chicken. The meals were prepared from scratch, nothing was pre-made which is my favourite part of the night, it really felt like you could replicate this meal at home. If you are on the fence about booking Chef Mat, I would highly recommend going forward to have a night you won't forget anytime soon. Thank you Chef Mat!
