While Toronto is home to numerous upscale, gourmet restaurants, sometimes, Canadians just want to indulge in tasty comfort food favorites. In this fun, hands-on class with Chef Robert, you'll discover how to put an elegant twist on everyday Canadian cuisine.

The class begins with a new twist on a perennial favorite, a refreshing smoked salmon Caesar salad. Next, you'll treat yourself to creamy macaroni and cheese baked to perfection and accented with honeyed baby carrots. The highlight of your meal is the peameal bacon steaks glazed with homemade BBQ sauce. For dessert, look forward to apple-cinnamon streusel coffee cake with maple-walnut ice cream.

Guests are welcome to bring wine and beer to enjoy during the class.

Chef Robert's warm personalty is reflected in the choice of menu he demonstrates. His menu ranges from all the comfort you can find in his macaroni and cheese with maple coffee back bacon to a vegan chocolate spice cake that must be tried. The leek, tomato and roast garlic bisque is another astounding vegan recipe that is simply a dish that will leave you feeling satisfied and happy.
