Cooking Class - Plant-Based Sushi
In this hands-on cooking class, join Chef Angela for a lesson in preparing maki sushi rolls with vegan ingredients that mimic the briny, umami flavors of the sea.
For a burst of spice and a dose of healthy probiotics, begin class by preparing homemade kimchi—a Korean-style fermented cabbage—along with classic sushi rice to serve as the base for your vegan spicy tuna rolls made with sunflower seeds. After the spicy tuna, create a delicious eggplant unagi roll with tofu and black sesame. For dessert, learn how to make dairy-free matcha ice cream.
Guests are welcome to provide wine and beer to enjoy during the class.
