Cooking Class - Plant-Based Sushi
Learn the art of making colorful and creative sushi rolls using plant-based ingredients.
In this hands-on cooking class, join Chef Angela for a lesson in preparing maki sushi rolls with vegan ingredients that mimic the briny, umami flavors of the sea.
For a burst of spice and a dose of healthy probiotics, begin class by preparing homemade kimchi—a Korean-style fermented cabbage—along with classic sushi rice to serve as the base for your vegan spicy tuna rolls made with sunflower seeds. After the spicy tuna, create a delicious eggplant unagi roll with tofu and black sesame. For dessert, learn how to make dairy-free matcha ice cream.
Guests are welcome to provide wine and beer to enjoy during the class.

Chef Travels to You
Chef Angela has traveled the world to develop her distinct, colorful, and healthy cooking style. After studying integrative nutrition, she put her training to work whipping together creative, nutritious plant-based dishes. Chef Angela began her own catering company in 2017 specializing in vegan dishes and plant-based cooking classes. She believes food should be beautiful, nourishing and delicious, and she is eager to teach aspiring chefs of all skill levels how to make it happen.
