What You’ll Do

Celebrate the fresh, sensational flavors of the sea with Mexican flair in this exciting lesson.

When it comes to turning fish and shrimp into a culinary celebration, this hands-on cooking class is the catch of the day! Chef Luis is onboard to teach you the secrets of creating an authentically Mexican seafood feast.

Begin by preparing a classic ceviche brimming with shrimp and fresh garden vegetables. Then, create an intriguing charred octopus dish complemented by a zesty chimichurri sauce. Afterward, cook a batch of sweet and smoky shrimp, followed by a plate of spicy tuna tiradito, a Mexican take on sashimi.

Guests are welcome to provide wine and beer to enjoy during the class.

With serrano pepper dressing, cucumber, Roma tomato, red onions, cilantro and lime juice, served over a crispy fried tortilla

Tiradito de Atún

With tuna, lime , chile de árbol, pepino, cucumbers, red onion, cilantro and avocado slices

With grilled or torched shrimp, roasted fingerling potatoes, roasted red peppers and onions

Chef Luis and the cooking experience was just what we needed after a long day of meetings! He was kind, had tons of great experience, shared a lot of great cooking tips, shared a bit about how he approached cooking in Mexico, and put together an awesome meal for us. There was plenty of food for the evening, and the team thoroughly enjoyed themselves. We’d definitely work with him again in the future.
