Learn the secrets to delicious vegan and gluten-free cooking, and nurture your family from the inside out.
In this hands-on class, Chef Fernanda invites you to bring your kids and learn with them how to add a healthy touch to the most ubiquitous childhood favorites and kid-approved meals.
As you learn how to incorporate new foods into your weekly meal routine, you will discover that plant-based cooking is not a trend, but a way of living. All recipes are free of gluten, artificial flavors, refined sugar and animal products. Please bring a notebook, apron and take-home containers for baked goods. Kids must be 8+ years to join!

Chef Fernanda, AKA La Health Mexicana, is FANTASTIC. She's not only a great chef and a great teacher, but she also has the ability to make a group of strangers feel like a group of friends. I booked her in January of 2020 for a birthday. Two of the total six of us had never met before, but the environment Chef Fernanda created was so fun and welcoming that we had so much fun spending the evening all together. I learned a lot with Chef Fernanda about vegan baking and thoroughly enjoyed eating at the end of the night what we all made together. I highly recommend her to carnivores (which I am) and vegans alike. You will enjoy your experience with Chef Fernanda! She's great.

Chef Fernanda is a plant-based chef who has worked in the food industry for over 10 years. She combines her Mexican heritage and Miamian flare to create vibrant, wholesome cuisine at her Miami restaurant, and for her cooking workshops with a focus on food that's free of gluten, added sugar and additives. Chef Fernanda has shared her healthy culinary secrets on television, and has developed recipes over the years that resulted in two cookbooks.
