Roma Norte Cooking Class - Secrets of Mexican Sauces

Learn how to master flavorful Mexican sauces and take a market tour.

Learn incredible recipes for creating flavorful Mexican sauces in this hands-on cooking class. Chef Graciela or a resident chef will teach techniques for chopping vegetables and mixing up special sauces.

First, make a traditional guacamole infused with tomatoes and onions and a red salsa using a molcajete. Then, create spicy ranchera sauce using olive oil and garlic, a fiery habanero sauce, a sweet and spicy mango and chili manzano sauce, and more.

This class includes a market tour to Mercado de Medellin, which is within walking distance. The duration of the cooking class + market tour is 4.5 hours.

Guests are welcome to bring wine and beer to enjoy during the class.
