Cooking Class - Traditional Tacos and Salsa

Elevate classic tacos by enhancing them with delicious salsa crafted from fresh, vibrant ingredients.

During this hands-on cooking class, Chef Eduardo will teach you the steps to making authentic Mexican tacos with different salsas.

You'll begin by making a zesty green tomatillo salsa and a classic chunky red salsa featuring ripe roma tomatoes and fresh herbs. Elevate your taste experience with creamy guacamole, and then savor the main course: Campechano topped with Spanish chorizo and cheese, complemented by a white mushroom and spinach sauté. Craft your own fresh tortillas, and for dessert, you'll prepare a lemon sorbet infused with dulce de zapote.

Guests are welcome to bring wine and beer to enjoy during the class.

Sophia and Alberto greeted us at the door of the townhouse where we had our cooking lesson, and immediately made us feel welcome. We toured the market where they had bought our produce earlier that day, and showed us all the grocery vendors and the little food stalls. Then we walked back to the townhouse and made tortillas, salsa, tacos, and guacamole. They were fantastic hosts and teachers, and we had a great time. They made us feel so at home, instead of a class the experience felt like having dinner at home with your fun friends.
