Cooking Class - Japanese Sushi and Steakhouse

Learn how to roll sushi, sear ribeye and more in this Japanese steakhouse-inspired class.

Chef Janice has curated a sushi and hibachi experience for you with this hands-on cooking class, where you'll practice stir-frying techniques as you create your favorite Japanese-inspired dishes at home.

To start, you'll hand-roll spicy salmon and avocado sushi rolls. Next, Chef Janice will guide you in making a delicate mushroom soup and crisp salad, topped with fresh carrot ginger dressing. Afterwards, you'll grill up ribeyes with vegetables and stir-fry noodles with a side of spicy mayonnaise. End on a sweet note with a creamy mango and coconut pudding.

Guests are welcome to bring wine and beer to enjoy during the class.

Chef Janice was awesome. Bought this lesson as a Christmas gift to do with my 14 year old nephew. Was so nice to do together. Lots of great tips for both a young cook and a more seasoned one. Food was delicious. I don’t generally like fish, but am excited to try the recipe we made. Chef Janice was a pleasure to have in my home and very accommodating with our schedule. Highly recommend her!
