Learn the basics of Indian cuisine in this hands-on cooking class with Chef Gurjyote.
If you want to master the art of Indian cooking but aren't sure where to start, this cooking class is the perfect introduction. In this class, Chef Gurjyote will teach you how to make six different Indian dishes all from scratch and using high-quality ingredients.
You will begin with white lentil dumplings topped with yogurt, pomegranate and tamarind sauces. For the main course, learn how to cook tandoori chicken and paneer served in a creamy spinach gravy. For dessert, you will make saffron tapioca pudding with raisins and pistachios.
Guests are welcome to bring wine and beer to enjoy during the class.

Gurjyote Singh is a very skilled and kind chef. His dishes were exceptional and his stories he shared while he prepared the dishes were very inspiring. I loved each and every one of the dishes he made. He was also very accommodating on spiciness level as I love spicy food. So he didn't skip on the hotness!

Chef Gurjyote has more than 20 years of professional culinary experience in both India and Canada. Chef Gurjyote is now the owner and executive chef of a highly successful catering business, and also teaches culinary and food science classes in Surrey. He is incredibly passionate about both traditional Indian cuisine and innovative Indian cooking, and is well-versed in a variety of international cuisines.
