Nothing compares to the taste and texture of homemade pasta, and in this hands-on cooking class with Chef Marco, you'll learn how to create your own at home. Once you know Chef Marco's secrets, you'll never shop in the pasta aisle again!
Using classic ingredients of fresh eggs, flour, oil and salt, you'll prepare spaghetti and top it with carbonara sauce. Then, create tortellini with an herb-packed pesto and pappardelle pasta served with chili prawns. Finish with a lesson in tiramisu, the perfect Italian dessert!
Guests are welcome to bring wine and beer to enjoy during the class.
Marco demonstrated how to make homemade fettuccine and angel hair pasta. He clearly talked through his steps as he prepared the dough for the pasta. He used a machine to cut the pasta into shape. He is able to answer the questions I had about the pasta machine regarding how it worked and what it was capable of doing. He then put the pasta on a drying utensil which would dry overnight. He had already dried pasta ready to cook off and make into a dish to enjoy at the time.
